Hello, everyone, and welcome back to the Transformational Teacher Podcast Conversations with Jesus.
Speaker A:Again.
Speaker A:As always, thank you for listening.
Speaker A:This episode today is specifically for teachers.
Speaker A:But even if you're not in the classroom, I believe this word will speak to you because you are called to influence and carry God's presence wherever you go.
Speaker A:I believe as believers, we all have a Kingdom assignment to fulfill.
Speaker A:And.
Speaker A:And yes, sometimes that may be multiple assignments that you're fulfilling throughout your life.
Speaker A:But here's the thing.
Speaker A:Make sure you do all that he tells you to do.
Speaker A:And this is something that God gave to me one day as I was sitting with him, and it was amazing the things that he said, so I felt led to share it with you.
Speaker A:So, to my fellow teachers, I need you to hear me, hear me closely.
Speaker A:This.
Speaker A:This episode is your reminder of just how powerful your role is, just how powerful it is to be a Kingdom teacher.
Speaker A:You are not just showing up to do a job.
Speaker A:You are walking into a Kingdom assignment.
Speaker A:Yes, you write lesson plans.
Speaker A:Yes, you teach standards.
Speaker A:You manage routines.
Speaker A:You are more than a classroom manager because behind the scenes, you pray, you declare, you anoint, you shift.
Speaker A:You do so much more than just those lesson plans.
Speaker A:You are a vessel.
Speaker A:You are God's vessel, used for his glory.
Speaker A:You are a warrior.
Speaker A:You are a Kingdom agent.
Speaker A:You are an ambassador.
Speaker A:A Kingdom ambassador at that.
Speaker A:A transformational teacher, an atmosphere shifter.
Speaker A:And even if you're in a public school where you may cannot speak his name directly, you still carry his presence because he goes with you.
Speaker A:So what you do behind scenes matters.
Speaker A:What you do inside that classroom matters.
Speaker A:The way you treat your students matters.
Speaker A:The way you respond in those challenging situations.
Speaker A:It matters.
Speaker A:The Holy Spirit walks with you every single day.
Speaker A:You are a teacher that changes lives every single day for his glory.
Speaker A:And sometimes we may not see it immediately, the seeds that we are planting.
Speaker A:But here's the thing.
Speaker A:When.
Speaker A:When an apple tree is planted, we don't see the apples on day one.
Speaker A:We have to continue to water the seed.
Speaker A:You are there to speak peace where there's chaos, to declare the truth, where lies have taken root, to stand firm when the battle gets tough.
Speaker A:And believe me, I know sometimes it can get tough inside the classroom.
Speaker A:It can get tough in life.
Speaker A:But we have to remember whose we are and who we reli lies on the inside of us.
Speaker A:God is within us.
Speaker A:God has called us to do great things, and we can do it with Him.
Speaker A:You are called to cast out every spirit that is not of God.
Speaker A:When chaos, fear, or confusion tries to walk in you speak the word, you command peace.
Speaker A:You don't shrink back.
Speaker A:You stand in the authority that he has given to you.
Speaker A:You are not just surviving each school day, you are thriving.
Speaker A:You are shifting destin knees.
Speaker A:You are planting kingdom seeds.
Speaker A:You are changing atmospheres.
Speaker A:You are changing the lives of the students that's inside the classroom.
Speaker A:As long as you show up his way, yes, the assignment can feel heavy, but it's producing something in you.
Speaker A:It's producing perseverance, strength, purpose, and so much more.
Speaker A:Two scriptures I want to read James 1, 2, 4.
Speaker A:I'm reading it from the NIV.
Speaker A:It says, consider it pure joy.
Speaker A:My brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance, let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
Speaker A:Joshua 1:9 says, have I not commanded you?
Speaker A:Be strong and courageous.
Speaker A:You do not be afraid.
Speaker A:Do not be discouraged.
Speaker A:For the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
Speaker A:So he is with you each and every day.
Speaker A:That includes the hallway, your planning period, your staff meetings, your morning commutes.
Speaker A:He is with you inside that classroom.
Speaker A:He is with you wherever you go.
Speaker A:You are not alone.
Speaker A:And you may even be saying, again, I'm in a public school setting where I can't openly talk about Jesus with students, parents and co workers.
Speaker A:I get it.
Speaker A:But that does not mean your light is hitting.
Speaker A:That does not mean you cannot show up and walk boldly in the assignment he's given unto you.
Speaker A:That does not mean you cannot allow the love of Jesus to shine through you.
Speaker A:You can.
Speaker A:You carry the presence of a full time God.
Speaker A:He is with you again everywhere you go.
Speaker A:So your faith and your teaching must stay connected.
Speaker A:The Holy Spirit goes with you everywhere because again, he resides in you when you receive Him.
Speaker A:You carry his presence in your classroom.
Speaker A:You model the fruit of the Spirit.
Speaker A:You can speak life.
Speaker A:You can teach your students to affirm themselves with truth and dignity.
Speaker A:You can cover your room in prayer.
Speaker A:You can worship while you playing.
Speaker A:You can walk the halls and pray.
Speaker A:You can walk the halls and worship.
Speaker A:You can anoint the halls of your school.
Speaker A:You can ask the Holy Spirit for daily wisdom and he will guide you again.
Speaker A:You can anoint that classroom with oil before the day begins.
Speaker A:Because your classroom isn't just a room.
Speaker A:It's Kingdom territory and you have authority in there.
Speaker A:You have to walk in that authority that he's given to you.
Speaker A:Now let's just take a moment and pause here and just listen closely.
Speaker A:I Know, it's not always easy, but God is always faithful.
Speaker A:God is always there.
Speaker A:Some days you may be tired, you may feel overlooked.
Speaker A:You wonder if you're even making a difference.
Speaker A:Some days the pressure, it feels like too much.
Speaker A:The hard days test you.
Speaker A:Sometimes you feel like throwing in the towel.
Speaker A:But hear me closely.
Speaker A:Don't let the enemy convince you to quit something here.
Speaker A:God has called you to do in this season.
Speaker A:You have been called for that classroom for such a time as this, to do God's will in that classroom, allow him to strengthen you in that classroom.
Speaker A:We can't do it in our own strength, but we can allow God to strengthen us, energize us, and to help us do his will.
Speaker A:This is your Kingdom assignment in this season.
Speaker A:And even when it feels hard, even when you don't feel strong, you are not alone.
Speaker A:God.
Speaker A:God is with you.
Speaker A:And His Word reminds us.
Speaker A:Deuteronomy 3:18 NIV it says, the Lord himself goes before you and will be with you.
Speaker A:He will never leave you nor forsake you.
Speaker A:Do not be afraid.
Speaker A:Do not be discouraged.
Speaker A:Then 2 Corinthians 12:9 NIV it says, but he said to me, my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.
Speaker A:Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses so that Christ's power may rest on me.
Speaker A:So again, even on the hardest days, his strength is available for you.
Speaker A:Everything you need is already in you.
Speaker A:But you have to open the door, receive it, and walk it out.
Speaker A:You have to open up your Word and allow the Word of God to speak to you.
Speaker A:The Word of God is alive.
Speaker A:It is active.
Speaker A:It is ready to show you what to do.
Speaker A:You have to use what God has given unto you.
Speaker A:You have to meditate on the Word of God.
Speaker A:Allow the Word of God to strengthen you each and every day to go inside of that classroom.
Speaker A:So, Kingdom teacher, let this be your reminder.
Speaker A:You are not alone.
Speaker A:You are not overlooked.
Speaker A:You are not underqualified.
Speaker A:You are anointed.
Speaker A:You are appointed.
Speaker A:You are assigned for such a time as this.
Speaker A:So don't grow weary, don't faint, don't.
Speaker A:Don't throw in the towel.
Speaker A:Instead, stand tall.
Speaker A:Kingdom teacher, fix your eyes on Jesus every step of the way.
Speaker A:Walk in boldness, speak God's word.
Speaker A:Shift atmospheres, heal hearts.
Speaker A:It's time to rise.
Speaker A:It's time to take your place.
Speaker A:It's time to teach with Jesus and allow the Holy Spirit to lead you daily.
Speaker A:Let his presence guide every lesson, every.
Speaker A:Every moment, every interaction that you have and never forget, your classroom is not just a job.
Speaker A:It's an assignment from God.
Speaker A:And you are equipped for this.
Speaker A:And Heaven is backing you up.
Speaker A:I want you to stay encouraged.
Speaker A:Go forth and do what God has told you to do.
Speaker A:Now let's speak some truths over ourselves.
Speaker A:You can repeat these out loud, write them in your journal, or simply let them just settle deep into your heart.
Speaker A:So let's go ahead and do it.
Speaker A:I am a Kingdom teacher on assignment, sent, covered and anointed by God.
Speaker A:I shift atmospheres by carrying God's peace, power and presence into my classroom.
Speaker A:I will not grow weary in doing good.
Speaker A:I am equipped by God.
Speaker A:His grace is there for me.
Speaker A:I am strengthened by Him.
Speaker A:I am led by the Holy Spirit.
Speaker A:I am not alone.
Speaker A:I teach with Jesus.
Speaker A:I walk in wisdom, patience and purpose.
Speaker A:My classroom is Kingdom territory.
Speaker A:And I have the authority to speak to peace and cast out confusion.
Speaker A:Let those truths take root.
Speaker A:Believe them, walk in them.
Speaker A:Live them out.
Speaker A:Kingdom teacher, this is your call.
Speaker A:Will you answer?
Speaker A:Will you rise up and become all he's called you to be.
Speaker A:In this season, it's time to plant Kingdom seeds.
Speaker A:It's time to disrupt darkness.
Speaker A:You are to be the light in the darkness.
Speaker A:It's time to shift atmospheres and lead with the presence of of God.
Speaker A:It's time to do what he says to do.
Speaker A:So Kingdom teacher, take your stand.
Speaker A:Rise and be all God has called you to be.
Speaker A:Let's look at Hebrews 12 verses 1 through 2 NIV Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that is so easily entangles.
Speaker A:And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us to fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.
Speaker A:For the joy set before Him.
Speaker A:He endured the cross scorning his shame and sat down at the right hand of throne of God.
Speaker A:Jesus fulfilled the assignment and so will you if you say yes daily to God.
Speaker A:If you surrender, you will fulfill the assignment.
Speaker A:Here's the thing.
Speaker A:Jesus didn't give up.
Speaker A:He finished his race and now he walks with you as you continue your journey.
Speaker A:So suit up in the armor of God.
Speaker A:Stay connected to the vine.
Speaker A:Let his presence flow through everything that you do.
Speaker A:The classroom is your territory and Heaven is backing you up each and every day.
Speaker A:Thank you.
Speaker A:Thank you again for all that you do inside that classroom.
Speaker A:Let's pray well.
Speaker A:Heavenly Father, we thank you right now.
Speaker A:We thank you Lord just for who you are.
Speaker A:We thank you Lord God for every teacher, that you have called forth for such a time as this to take territory and to do your will inside that classroom.
Speaker A:I pray, Lord God, that they will rise.
Speaker A:They will rise and they will be all that you call forth, Lord God, for them to do.
Speaker A:I pray, Lord God, they allow you to strengthen them each and every day.
Speaker A:I pray, Lord God, that they will sit with you.
Speaker A:They will allow your word to strengthen them.
Speaker A:They will spend time in your word.
Speaker A:And I thank you, Lord God, as they go side inside that classroom, they're not going in alone because you are right there with them.
Speaker A:So I pray, Lord God, that every situation is handled with grace.
Speaker A:I pray, Lord God, they are quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger.
Speaker A:I pray, Lord God, that they are trusting you, you fully, Lord God, each and every day, even when things may seem challenging, even when things may not be going the way that they have been praying for it to go.
Speaker A:I pray that they will continue to trust you, they will continue to seek you, they will continue, Lord God, to seek wisdom, Lord God, from you on what to do.
Speaker A:I pray, Lord God, they will continue to stand firm in your word, Lord God, and they will continue to stay planted where you have placed them at, Lord.
Speaker A:So I thank you Father, for everything that you are doing in and through them.
Speaker A:And I give you honor and I give you glory.
