Why Christian Teachers Need a God-Centered Classroom Vision
Happy New Year, Transformational Teacher. 2023 may have had its bumps, but God was still faithful. My prayer is that this becomes the season you truly surrender your classroom to God and let Him have His way in you and in it.
In this episode, I talk about why every classroom needs a God-given vision, for the room as a whole, for your students, and for you as a teacher, and how writing it down keeps you steady when things look contrary to what He said.
In this episode you’ll hear:
1. Habakkuk 2:2-3 (Amplified) and what it means to write the vision and make it plain
2. How to ask God for His vision for your classroom, your students, and yourself
3. A real example from my own classroom vision, and the scriptures behind it
💛 “Having a vision and writing it out will keep you focused on your goal. Even when things look contrary, you will not be moved.”
This week’s action steps:
• Pray and ask God for His vision for your classroom, your students, and you as a teacher
• Write down what He shows you, then go back and make the vision clear and plain
• When something looks contrary to the vision, return to God and stay ready to obey
