Pause + Pray for Teachers | Receiving the Father’s Love Before Giving It
Welcome to Pause + Pray for Teachers | Receiving the Father’s Love Before Giving It.
Each month, we gather to pause in God’s presence and pray together. I’m sharing these prayer gatherings here on the podcast so you can return to them anytime you need to reset, refocus, and be strengthened.
This episode is longer than my typical podcast episodes because it’s designed as a guided prayer experience — not just a teaching moment. You’re invited to slow down, take a deep breath, and allow God to meet you right where you are.
This month, our focus is simple but foundational: We cannot give what we have not first received.
As teachers, we pour constantly — into students, families, coworkers, and communities. But love flows best from a heart that is rooted and renewed. In this Pause + Pray gathering, we center ourselves in the Father’s everlasting love, renew our minds through His Word, and commit to abiding daily so we can lead from overflow instead of exhaustion.
During this prayer experience, we:
• Receive and reflect on God’s everlasting love
• Renew our minds to see through His lens, not the world’s
• Commit to abiding daily through consistent time in His Word
• Pray from a place of being rooted — not reactive
• Lift up our students, classrooms, staff, and school environments
• Remember that we are not powerless — we carry His Word, and He dwells within us
Whether you’re listening during a quiet moment or returning to this prayer throughout your week, my prayer is that you leave reminded of this:
You are loved. You are equipped. You are not alone.
This Pause + Pray episode is available in both audio and video format. Listen or watch in the way that best supports your time with God.

Speaker A:Hello everyone, and welcome to our Pause and Pray gathering, a prayer gathering for teachers.
Speaker A:And I am so thankful that each one of you are here live and thankful for those that are listening to the recording.
Speaker A:But before we dive in, I just want to mention, as always, this call is being recorded and it will be available on my YouTube channel and on my podcast.
Speaker A:So if you share a prayer request and you want that request to be private, please message me and I will pray for you during my prayer time.
Speaker A:Because again, this call is being recorded.
Speaker A:So this month we are talking about receiving and walking in God's love.
Speaker A:God is inviting us to receive his love and allow his love to shape how we respond to to others.
Speaker A:So again, we want to make sure we receive the Father's love and allow his love to help us respond to others his way.
Speaker A:So Romans 12:2.
Speaker A:This is one of our founding scriptures, I would say, for this month, and it says, don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.
Speaker A:Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
Speaker A:So here's the thing.
Speaker A:We don't determine love by the way the world defines love.
Speaker A:We don't determine love by the way others treat us.
Speaker A:We allow God's Word and God Himself to renew our mind and show us what love is.
Speaker A:And the beautiful thing about God, the thing that I love so much, he lays everything out in His Word for us.
Speaker A:So in order to learn more about love, we can go to His Word to find out what His Word has to say about love.
Speaker A:So we can imitate the Father and by expressing love to others and showing his love.
Speaker A:So for each of our prayer points, as always, we have scriptures that we will pray and.
Speaker A:And throughout the time, I will be, you know, talking, sharing some encouraging words with you all.
Speaker A:But the reason why I do believe in praying scripture is because God's Word will not return to him void.
Speaker A:But again, I am also allowing the Holy Spirit to guide me in this time that we have together.
Speaker A:So our first prayer point is receiving the Father's everlasting love.
Speaker A:And here is the thing that I want you all to hear me.
Speaker A:Hear me closely, because this is what I want.
Speaker A:You know, I have been, you know, talking to God about, He's been ministering to me, you know, about just receiving his love and walking in his love.
Speaker A:Because God loves you.
Speaker A:The amazing thing that Christ, he loves us so much.
Speaker A:He loves you.
Speaker A:He loves me.
Speaker A:He demonstrated His Love for us even while we were still sinners.
Speaker A:The thing that I think about is how Jesus became flesh.
Speaker A:He walked the earth.
Speaker A:He went to the cross for.
Speaker A:For me and you.
Speaker A:He died.
Speaker A:He did that for us.
Speaker A:He didn't wait for us to get it together.
Speaker A:He didn't wait for us to, you know, stop doing this, stop doing that.
Speaker A:No, he didn't wait.
Speaker A:And he's not waiting on you to fix those classroom situations.
Speaker A:Because here's the thing.
Speaker A:You can't fix Him.
Speaker A:He is the one that can do that.
Speaker A:He is the one that can change hearts.
Speaker A:He is the one that can change situations.
Speaker A:The thing that we can do is we can pray for, we can trust him, and we can allow him to guide and direct us.
Speaker A:That is love.
Speaker A:God loved us even before we even, you know, thought to love him back.
Speaker A:He loved us.
Speaker A:So he already went to the cross for us.
Speaker A:He did it for us.
Speaker A:The thing is, we have to receive his love.
Speaker A:We have to receive him as our Lord and Savior.
Speaker A:If you haven't done that, don't worry.
Speaker A:Go to Romans 10:9 and allow God to come into your heart.
Speaker A:Romans, Romans 10:9.
Speaker A:It says that if you can confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Speaker A:And if you say that prayer tonight, if you haven't done it before, please message me because I would love to celebrate with you.
Speaker A:And the thing is, once we receive God as our Lord and Savior again, the love is there.
Speaker A:He loved us even before that.
Speaker A:But now we can actually sit with him.
Speaker A:We can hear his voice, we can commune with him, we can build that relationship with him.
Speaker A:Because just like in the natural you're in a relationship with someone when you first get to know that person, you're at the, you know, getting to know each other stage.
Speaker A:But the more you spend time with them, the more you get to know them, the more love you receive from them, the more, you know, time you want to spend with them.
Speaker A:So let's pray.
Speaker A:So, Heavenly Father, we thank you right now.
Speaker A:We thank you, Lord, for what you did for us on the cross.
Speaker A:We thank you, Father, for loving us oh, so much.
Speaker A:We thank you, Father, for your everlasting love that you have shown upon us, Lord God, and we receive your everlasting love.
Speaker A:We thank you, Lord God, as it says in your word.
Speaker A:Therefore, with loving kindness, I have drawn and continue my faithfulness to you.
Speaker A:So we thank you, Father, for drawing us to you, Lord God.
Speaker A:We thank you, Father, for reaching out to Us.
Speaker A:We thank you, Father, for loving us the way that you love us, Lord God.
Speaker A:We thank you, Lord God, that you accept us as we are.
Speaker A:And we thank you that you don't leave us where we are at.
Speaker A:But as we walk with you, as we talk with you, as we sit with you, you will help us to grow.
Speaker A:You will help us to mature.
Speaker A:As we do our part, we know you're faithful to do your part.
Speaker A:So we thank you, Father, for that.
Speaker A:We thank you, Lord God, for what Romans 5, 5 says such hope in God's promise never disappoints.
Speaker A:Because God's love has been abundantly poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
Speaker A:So we thank you, Father, for giving us the Holy Spirit.
Speaker A:We thank you, Father, for pouring your love out on us.
Speaker A:And we receive your love.
Speaker A:We receive love from your word.
Speaker A:We receive love, oh God, just as we sit in your presence, Lord God.
Speaker A:And we just allow you, though God, to speak to us.
Speaker A:We allow you to minister to our hearts, Father, we thank you that your love is not a distant love.
Speaker A:Your love is a close love.
Speaker A:So we thank you, Father, for that.
Speaker A:You know all things about us.
Speaker A:We thank you, Lord God, that you created each one of us fearfully and wonderfully made, Lord God, by you.
Speaker A:We thank you for the gifts.
Speaker A:We thank you for the talents, oh God, that you place on the inside of us, Lord God.
Speaker A:We thank you, Lord God, that the original intent you called for for us to fulfill, we will fulfill, Lord God.
Speaker A:So we thank you, Father, for that.
Speaker A:We thank you, Lord God, that you loved us so much, Lord God, given that you went the cross for us.
Speaker A:And we thank you, Lord God, for Psalms 143:8.
Speaker A:Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love.
Speaker A:For I have put my trust in you.
Speaker A:Show me the way I should go.
Speaker A:For to you I entrust my life.
Speaker A:So I thank you, Father, that again we receive your love each and every day, Lord God.
Speaker A:Rejoice in each and every day that you have given unto us, Lord God.
Speaker A:And we choose, Lord God, to trust you.
Speaker A:We choose, Lord God, to surrender our will to you, oh God.
Speaker A:We choose, Father, to release control.
Speaker A:We choose, Lord God, to give every care, every ounce of.
Speaker A:Of anxiety, every worry, Lord God, over to you.
Speaker A:Because you love us so much.
Speaker A:You have an affectionate love for us.
Speaker A:That you want to carry those burdens.
Speaker A:You want to carry those things that weigh us down.
Speaker A:You don't want us to take hold of them.
Speaker A:You want to take them.
Speaker A:You want to show us how to deal with those things.
Speaker A:And we trust you, Father.
Speaker A:We trust, Lord God, that you can lead us along the best pathway.
Speaker A:We trust, oh God, that you love us so much that you will remove obstacles, oh God.
Speaker A:Out of our lives, oh God.
Speaker A:And we thank you Father, as you show us those things.
Speaker A:Look out that we need to correct, Lord God.
Speaker A:There's anything, Lord God, that we've done, Lord God, that we shouldn't have done, Lord God.
Speaker A:We ask you, Lord God, for forgiveness, Lord God.
Speaker A:And we thank just such a love and forgiveness God, when we come to you, Lord God, that you will forgive us, Lord God.
Speaker A:And that you will embrace us and that you will show us, Lord God, what it is we need to do to be on the path that you have for us.
Speaker A:So we thank you God, that we're picking up our cross daily and we are following you.
Speaker A:Teach us to love your way, Lord.
Speaker A:Teach us to love the way you want us to love.
Speaker A:Not the way that the world calls us to love, but your father.
Speaker A:So we thank you Father, for that.
Speaker A:And we give you glory, we give you honor.
Speaker A:If there's anything that we didn't pray, Lord God, we ask that you intercede on our behalf.
Speaker A:Lord God, we give you glory and honor.
Speaker A:In Jesus name we pray.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Now we're going into prayer point number two, renewing our minds to love God's way.
Speaker A:Again, we want to allow him to reshape our the way that we think about love, the way that we see love.
Speaker A:Because again, we don't want to take on the world's definition of love.
Speaker A:We don't want to be led by our emotions.
Speaker A:But we want to to allow God's love to shape us.
Speaker A:We want to allow his word to shape us.
Speaker A:And again, the amazing thing about God is he's giving us his word to show us how to walk in love.
Speaker A:So let's pray.
Speaker A:So, Heavenly Father, we thank you again.
Speaker A:We thank you for what it says in Romans 12:2.
Speaker A:We thank you that we don't have to copy the behaviors of the customs of the world.
Speaker A:But we thank you, God, that we allow you to transform us into a new person person by changing the way we think.
Speaker A:Then we will learn to know your will, Father.
Speaker A:Your good and pleasing will, Lord.
Speaker A:So we thank you, Lord God, for revealing to us what love is.
Speaker A:Look at what love is in your way, Lord God.
Speaker A:Show us what love means through your word.
Speaker A:And as we read your word, we think that you will open up our eyes and we will behold wonderful things, Lord God, out of your law.
Speaker A:And I pray, Lord God, that we will allow your love, Lord God, to, you know, be within us, Lord God, to where we will love you, God, with all of our heart and our mind and with all of our soul.
Speaker A:With of our strength, Lord God, with our entire being, Lord God.
Speaker A:We will love you, Father, and we will see things, oh God, through your lens.
Speaker A:We will see your children lo God through your lens, Lord God.
Speaker A:We will see the best, Lord God in each student inside of our classroom.
Speaker A:We will see the best inside of each coworker that we work with, Lord God.
Speaker A:Because again, we're not seeing people from our perspective, but we're seeing them from your perspective.
Speaker A:And we are loving others the way that you instruct us to love others and as it says in Ephesians 5:12, to be imitators of you guys.
Speaker A:So we are going to imitate you, God.
Speaker A:We are going spend time in your word so we will know what to do, how to do it and how to love others.
Speaker A:So therefore become imitators of God.
Speaker A:We copy him and follow his example, a will as well.
Speaker A:Beloved children imitate their father and walk continue in love that it is value on another.
Speaker A:Practice empathy and compassion, unselfishly seeking the best for others.
Speaker A:So help, help us, Father, to see the best, Lord God, to want the best, Lord God for others.
Speaker A:Just as Christ loved you and gave himself up for you and offering a sacrifice to go slain for you, so it became a sweet fragrance.
Speaker A:So again, Father, thank you for your example of love.
Speaker A:And I pray that we show others love as you instruct us to show it.
Speaker A:And we thank you, Lord God, for First Corinthians 13, oh God.
Speaker A:And I encourage you all to read First Corinthians 13, sit with it, read it daily.
Speaker A:That is one thing that my first lady, she had, you know, encouraged me to start doing.
Speaker A:Because my love, you know, is one of the areas that I realized, no, I got to grow in my walk.
Speaker A:I have to grow in my love walk and how I love others and how I see others.
Speaker A:So as I've been meditating on First Corinthians 13, been praying, and I've been seeing a change in me.
Speaker A:Some of the situations inside the classroom, they're still there, but I'm starting to see them from a different perspective.
Speaker A:I'm starting to see the students, those that are coming inside of my classroom.
Speaker A:I'm starting to see them from the lens of love, seeing them from God's perspective, not just my own.
Speaker A:So I am responding better and I am seeing things different, differently.
Speaker A: ing to pray first Corinthians: Speaker A:So heavenly Father, we thank you right now.
Speaker A: ou for what first Corinthians: Speaker A:And now three.
Speaker A:And now there remain faith, abiding, trust in God and his promises, hope, confident expectation of eternal salvation, love, unselfish love for others, growing out of God's love for me.
Speaker A:These three, the choice is grace.
Speaker A:But the greatest of these is love.
Speaker A:So Heavenly Father, help us to love others the way you want us to love, oh God.
Speaker A:So we thank you Father, for that.
Speaker A:We thank you, Lord God, the rest so rooted and so grounded in your love that your love that it flows out of us, the way we respond to others, it flows out of us.
Speaker A:So I thank you Father, that we are responding, Lord God, to people, Lord God, the way that you instruct us to respond, Lord God.
Speaker A:We don't respond, Lord God, from a place of being selfish, Lord God.
Speaker A:But we respond, Lord God, from a place, Lord God, of being rooted, Lord God, and being grounded in you, Lord God.
Speaker A:We thank you, Lord God, that love endures, Lord God.
Speaker A:We thank you, Lord God, that the love that we have, Lord God, that it is patient, we thank you to love, that it is kind, it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not not proud, it does not dishonor others.
Speaker A:So we're not dishonoring those, oh God, that are in our lives.
Speaker A:It's not self seeking, it's not easily angry, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Speaker A:So we thank you.
Speaker A:Each day we go inside the classroom, oh God, it's a fresh slate.
Speaker A:It's a fresh slate for us, a fresh slate for our students.
Speaker A:And we will see them, oh God, the way that you see them.
Speaker A:We think that love, it does not delight in evil, but it rejoices with the truth.
Speaker A:It always protects, always trust, always hope, hopes, always perseveres.
Speaker A:So I thank you, Lord God, that love never fails, Lord God.
Speaker A:So we thank you, oh God, that we walk in love, Lord God, we walk and we display your love, oh God.
Speaker A:We imitate your word, Lord God.
Speaker A:We imitate you, Lord God, each and every day.
Speaker A:So we thank you, Lord God, for loving others through us, Lord God.
Speaker A:And we give you glory and we give you honor.
Speaker A:In Jesus name we pray.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:So again I encourage you sit with First Corinthians 13, pray it each day and watch God transform you from the inside out.
Speaker A:So prayer point three.
Speaker A:Abiding daily through consistent time in his word.
Speaker A:And when I think of abide I, you know, did look it up and it's, you know, about staying connected.
Speaker A:And in this sense, we want to stay connected to God.
Speaker A:And some ways that we can stay connected to God, of course, these are not all the ways, but some of the ways we can stay connected is through worship, is through reading his Word, spending time in his presence, journaling, you know, whatever he speaks to your heart.
Speaker A:We can do it through prayer and by being dependent on him.
Speaker A:We want to depend on the Father.
Speaker A:Don't depend on yourself, depend on God.
Speaker A:God is the one that can strengthen you.
Speaker A:He is the one that can energize you each and every day to go inside that classroom.
Speaker A:So again, depend on him.
Speaker A:And here's the thing, in a relationship that we're in, even again, those natural relationships, we have to spend time with the people in order to get to know them.
Speaker A:And the more time we spend with someone, the more time we want to spend with them.
Speaker A:And here's the thing, this consistency with God, it doesn't have to look like, you know, your friend, you know, that you, you know, talk to all the time.
Speaker A:It doesn't have to look like what my consistency is.
Speaker A:We don't have to compare ourselves to others.
Speaker A:What I want you to do is you sit with God, ask God, God, what do you want my time with you to look like?
Speaker A:That could be, you know, 15 minutes devoted to God each day.
Speaker A:Because I believe 15 minutes with God consistently each day, that will take you a long way.
Speaker A:And of course, the more we build that 15 minutes, the more that 15 minutes it can grow to 30 minutes and it will continue to grow.
Speaker A:So let's pray.
Speaker A:Pray.
Speaker A:We're going to be praying.
Speaker A:John 15, 4, 5.
Speaker A:Remain in me, and I will remain in you.
Speaker A:Just as no branch can bear fruit by itself without remaining in the vine, neither can you bear fruit, producing evidence of your faith unless you remain in me.
Speaker A:I am divine, you are the righteous, the one who remains in me.
Speaker A:And I in he in him bears much fruit.
Speaker A:For otherwise, apart from me, that is cut off from vital union, with me, you can do nothing.
Speaker A:So, Heavenly Father, we thank you.
Speaker A:We thank you that we can be connected to you.
Speaker A:We think we can be connected to you by reading your word, by studying your word, by worshiping you, by spending time with you, quality time with you, each and every day.
Speaker A:So we thank you, Lord God, that we will stay connected to you.
Speaker A:Because apart from you, we can do nothing.
Speaker A:But with you, we can do all that you call for, for us to do.
Speaker A:We thank you.
Speaker A:Oh, God, as we spend time with you, we thank you, Father, for revealing to us what it is that you call for, for us to do.
Speaker A:Because we know you're going to do your part.
Speaker A:So, Father, we ask you show us our part, oh God, as you show us our heart, Lord God, I pray that we're willing and we are obedient for God to do what you instruct us to do.
Speaker A:For we're not just hearers of your word, but we are diligent doers of your word.
Speaker A:So, Father, whatever you say, we will do, Lord God.
Speaker A:Even those things, Lord God, that to the natural may seem uncommon, Lord God, if you say to do it, we will do it.
Speaker A:Because we know what you tell us to do.
Speaker A:It makes faith.
Speaker A:It may not always, always make sense to us in the natural, but it will make faith.
Speaker A:And if we do your word, we know well, God, you're going to do your part.
Speaker A:So we thank you.
Speaker A:We stay connected to you.
Speaker A:We stay rooted in the word of God.
Speaker A:We are anchored in the things of you.
Speaker A:And we thank you, as it says in your word, to meditate on your word day and night.
Speaker A:And as we follow your commands, we shall be prosperous.
Speaker A:We shall be so successful.
Speaker A:So I thank you, Father.
Speaker A:We are lovers of your word, Lord God.
Speaker A:We delight, Lord God, in your law, oh God.
Speaker A:We delight in the law of the Lord.
Speaker A:We meditate on the law day and night.
Speaker A:And as we meditate on the law day and night, we will receive more revelation, more understanding, Lord God, on what it is that you want us to do.
Speaker A:We thank you, Father, for giving us daily bread, oh God, loading us with daily benefits, Lord God, we thank you for revealing to us what it is that we need to do each and every day before we walk inside the classroom.
Speaker A:As we welcome our students inside the classroom.
Speaker A:We thank you, Father, for showing us how to respond to each student, Lord God.
Speaker A:How to respond, oh God, to every situation, even those most challenging situations that we may encounter, Lord God, we thank you, God, that we can pause, we can sit with you.
Speaker A:And that you will show us what to do.
Speaker A:You will show us how to handle, Lord God.
Speaker A:You will show us when we need to take a step back.
Speaker A:You will show us when we need to silence ourselves.
Speaker A:You will show us when we need to just leave it alone.
Speaker A:And when we need to go back, you will show us how to address it, Lord God.
Speaker A:And we thank you, Father, for that.
Speaker A:We thank you, Lord God.
Speaker A:God, again we trust you, Father.
Speaker A:We surrender to you.
Speaker A:We know that you are all knowing and we surrender to you and we thank you Father, for guiding and directing our footsteps in Jesus name.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Prayer Point four Responding from Overflow when we are rooted in Him, His Word flows out of us and his Word is filled with love.
Speaker A:So again, the more time we spend with God, the more we meditate on His Word, the more His Word gets in our heart hearts.
Speaker A:And when it's in our hearts, that is when it's going to flow out of us.
Speaker A:And we want to be in a place of overflowing with His Word, overflowing with his love.
Speaker A:So when those situations come, because we're going to encounter some things in the classroom, in life in general, but we want to respond God's way.
Speaker A:And the more we're rooted in His Word, the more we will respond his way.
Speaker A:So Galatians 5:22 23 so Heavenly Father, we thank you Lord God.
Speaker A:We again we thank you for your Word.
Speaker A:We think that your word cannot turn void to you and we thank you and we give our lives to you.
Speaker A:We thank you so graciously give us the fruit of the spirit.
Speaker A:So we thank you Lord God, for the fruit of the spirit.
Speaker A:But the fruit of the Spirit, the result of your presence with being with you.
Speaker A:So we thank you, oh God, that again we spend time with you.
Speaker A:And we thank you as we spend time with you.
Speaker A:We thank you Lord God, that we will flow with your flow in the fruit of the spirit.
Speaker A:We thank you Lord God, for love, unselfish concern for others.
Speaker A:We thank you for joy.
Speaker A:We thank you for inner peace, peace, patience, not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting, oh God.
Speaker A:So I thank you Lord God, we respond your way.
Speaker A:We thank you for kindness, for goodness, for faithfulness, for gentleness, for self control.
Speaker A:Against such things there is no law.
Speaker A:So we thank you, oh God, that we will respond in the fruit of the Spirit.
Speaker A:We will take time to pause.
Speaker A:We will take time as we pause.
Speaker A:We will pray, then we will proceed your way.
Speaker A:We thank you that we walk out of we walk by the Spirit and not by the flesh.
Speaker A:So our responses, they are spirit led responses because we don't allow the flesh to take over because we submit to you.
Speaker A:And as we submit to you, the enemy must flee away from us.
Speaker A:So as we submit to your word, as we submit to your ways, we will respond in your way.
Speaker A:And we thank you Lord God, for Colossians 3:14.
Speaker A:We clothe ourselves, we wrap ourselves in unselfish love, which is the perfect bond of unity.
Speaker A:For everything is bound together in agreement with each Other each when with each one seeks the best for others.
Speaker A:So we are seeking the best for others.
Speaker A:We are seeking the best for our students.
Speaker A:We are seeing the best in our students.
Speaker A:We are handling the situation the way you instruct us to handle them.
Speaker A:And we thank you, Lord God.
Speaker A:We thank for James 1:19.
Speaker A:We thank you God.
Speaker A:Understand this, my beloved brothers and sisters.
Speaker A:Let everyone be quick to hear.
Speaker A:Be a careful and thoughtful listener.
Speaker A:Slow to speak.
Speaker A:A a speaker of carefully chosen words, slow to anger, patient, reflective and forgiven.
Speaker A:So Heavenly Father, we thank you, Lord God, that James 1:19 is evident in our lives.
Speaker A:We thank you, oh God, that we are quick to hear.
Speaker A:We are quick to hear your still small voice.
Speaker A:We are careful.
Speaker A:We are thoughtful listeners, Lord God, even in the most challenging situations, Lord God.
Speaker A:We slow down, Lord God, to hear your voice, Lord God, we slow down to hear what the Holy Spirit has has to say to us.
Speaker A:We are slow to speak.
Speaker A:We are speakers of carefully choose chosen words.
Speaker A:We choose the worst wise because we know there's that there's power in our words that we speak.
Speaker A:We know there's life in the words that we speak.
Speaker A:And we know also that death was in the words that we speak.
Speaker A:But we want to speak life.
Speaker A:We want to speak life over ourselves.
Speaker A:We want to speak life over our students.
Speaker A:So we are watching how we respond.
Speaker A:We are slow to anger.
Speaker A:We are patient.
Speaker A:We are reflective and we are forgiving.
Speaker A:And we are doing things your way, Father.
Speaker A:And we thank you Father, Father, for that.
Speaker A:We give you glory and we give you honor in Jesus name.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Now that we have received, we have prayed for his love.
Speaker A:We have received his love.
Speaker A:We have renewed our minds.
Speaker A:We're committed to abiding in Him.
Speaker A:And again, remember, the way you spend time with God is not the way I spend time with God.
Speaker A:But the key is making sure it's showing honor to Him.
Speaker A:So now we want to pray from that place.
Speaker A:When we are rooted in his love, we don't just survive in our classrooms.
Speaker A:We steward them well.
Speaker A:We see each student the way God sees them.
Speaker A:We ask him again, God, what do you want me to do daily inside this classroom?
Speaker A:Because you know me best and you know my students best.
Speaker A:So as we're praying for our students, for our schools, we want to ask God, God, what do you want me to pray?
Speaker A:Pray.
Speaker A:So again we want to pray from a place of being rooted in God's love.
Speaker A:Because again, God loves us so much.
Speaker A:He didn't just save us.
Speaker A:He has given us access to His Word.
Speaker A:We have Access to His word.
Speaker A:He has given us the ability to pray what we are doing now.
Speaker A:And he's given us the ability not just to pray for ourselves, but to pray for others.
Speaker A:And again, the beautiful thing is is we can pray His Word because His word does not return void to him.
Speaker A:So again I encourage you pray the word of God and allow the Holy Spirit to lead you as you are praying.
Speaker A:He's given us the ability to stand in the gap for our students and that is why we are here to pray for ourselves, but also to pray for our students, to pray for our co workers, to pray for our school as a whole, to pray for our families.
Speaker A:And here is the thing that I love so much.
Speaker A:Since we have God's word, we have the sword of the spirit.
Speaker A:We are not powers powerless in our classroom.
Speaker A:We have the word of God.
Speaker A:We have power, we have authority.
Speaker A:Heaven is backing us and we want to make sure we are walking in line with God's word, that we are praying God's word.
Speaker A:And here is the thing.
Speaker A:He sees the student that is struggling.
Speaker A:He sees the teacher that is tired.
Speaker A:He sees maybe the tension it might be in the staff meetings.
Speaker A:He sees what's taking place in your school and nothing catches him by surprise.
Speaker A:And here is the thing.
Speaker A:God is a gentleman.
Speaker A:So again he wants us to invite him into our life situations.
Speaker A:So when we are praying, we are inviting him in to our situations.
Speaker A:We are inviting him in to deal with the earth affairs, the things that are taking place around us in our classroom, in the lives of our students and you know, our co workers.
Speaker A:So again I encourage you you to partner with him to pray daily.
Speaker A:So we are going to pray for our students, family, staff and school environment.
Speaker A:So heavenly Father, we thank you right now.
Speaker A:We thank you Lord just for who you are.
Speaker A:We pray though God for our students hearts, Lord God, we pray that their hearts are open, Lord God to grow and respond your way.
Speaker A:Oh God, we thank you Lord God that no one is too young to receive the Father's life love.

Speaker A:To witness to them even at a young age, Lord God, we thank you Father for that.
Speaker A:And we pray Lord God for teachers, oh God, we pray that their hearts are open to receive your love, Lord God, that they will stay open, Lord God, they will allow you to lead and guide them each and every day.
Speaker A:We Pray, Lord God, for unity among the staff.
Speaker A:We come against Lord God.
Speaker A:Any tension, Lord God.
Speaker A:We come against Lord God.
Speaker A:Anything, Lord God, that is trying to bring forth strife in our schools, Lord God.
Speaker A:We come against the hand of the enemy.
Speaker A:We tell the enemy enemy, you are kicked out of our schools.
Speaker A:You're no and board.
Speaker A:We thank you that God's plans for our schools for our students are coming to pass.

Speaker A:We pray to teachers, we pray for staff.
Speaker A:We pray for the families, Lord God, that they are clothed and in their right mind.

Speaker A:They are focused, Lord God.
Speaker A:In the things of you, Lord God.
Speaker A:They're focused on the task at hand.
Speaker A:We thank you right now that we cover them emotionally, mentally, Lord God.
Speaker A:And we thank you, Lord God, that each one, Lord God.
Speaker A:They are getting the help.
Speaker A:Oh God.
Speaker A:That is needed, Lord God, we thank you.
Speaker A:Any red tape, oh God.
Speaker A:Is hindering, Lord God.
Speaker A:Our students from receiving the service that they are in need of, Lord God.
Speaker A:We pray, Lord God, that that red tape, oh God.
Speaker A:It is.
Speaker A:It is, Lord.
Speaker A:It is no longer a hindrance, Lord God.
Speaker A:For each one is getting what they are in need of.
Speaker A:So we thank you, Father, for that.
Speaker A:And we pray, Lord God, for peace, Lord God, we pray for peace in our classrooms so our students so they can thrive, Lord God.
Speaker A:And teachers can teach, Lord God, that you called for for them to teach.
Speaker A:They can teach with a sense of peaceful, God and calm.
Speaker A:Oh God, we thank you for teacher student relationships.
Speaker A:Oh God, we thank you that they're growing.
Speaker A:We're praying for wisdom, oh God.
Speaker A:Discernment, Lord God, for each child.
Speaker A:We pray, Lord God, for grace.
Speaker A:We pray for understanding, Lord God.
Speaker A:And patience for difficult students, Lo God.
Speaker A:And again I pray that we we see each one the way that you see them, oh God.
Speaker A:And we see them with a lens of love, Lord.
Speaker A:We pray for protection, oh God.
Speaker A:We ask that you cover, Lord God.
Speaker A:Our schools, Lord God.
Speaker A:We thank you, Lord God.
Speaker A:For peace, Lord God.
Speaker A:We thank you, Lord God, for protection upon our students as they're traveling, Lord God.
Speaker A:To and from school, Lord God.

Speaker A:In vehicles, oh God.
Speaker A:Especially even those children, oh God.
Speaker A:Those students, Lord God.
Speaker A:That are driving on their own, Lord God.
Speaker A:That they're focused on the road.
Speaker A:But, God, there not be being distracted, Lord God.
Speaker A:By outside forces, Lord God.
Speaker A:So we thank you for that.
Speaker A:They're being mindful, oh God.
Speaker A:We pray the students and teachers, they come into alignment, Lord God, with your plan for their lives.
Speaker A:For the enemy.
Speaker A:He is evicted.
Speaker A:He is evicted.
Speaker A:He has no place in their minds.
Speaker A:He has no place in their future.
Speaker A:We thank you right now that God has plans to prosper us and not to harm us.
Speaker A:And we pray, Lord God for homes, for school and family connections, Lord God, that they're getting stronger and stronger, Lord God, show us ways to God that we can connect with our families, Lord God.
